Personal Statement
I have always been interested in caring for cancer patients. I find it humbling and gratifying to care for complex patients who need surgical and chemotherapy treatments. I chose to specialize in Gynecology Oncology as it allowed me to focus on both aspects.
I have a deep love for international travel, poker, playing/watching soccer, and good food. I'm most happy when cooking, cutting root vegetables and quartering a whole chicken. I find enjoyment out of mentoring residents and fellows as I am profoundly interested in fostering the next generation of physicians. A fun fact about me is that my wife and I recently completed running 1000 consecutive days outdoors, even in the rain, snow, ice, or heat!
