Scholarships
This scholarship program is aimed at supporting the education of students interested in full-time employment at UK HealthCare upon graduation.
A monetary educational stipend is offered to eligible, selected recipients. One semester of the educational award shall be forgiven for every six months of productive full-time service in a role corresponding with the student’s respective academic program.
Eligibility
- Applicant must provide proof of acceptance to one of the following academic programs:
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS)
- Medical Assisting
- Biotechnology Lab Technician
- Radiography
- Respiratory Care
- Surgical Technology
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) training program
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Cytotechnology
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Master of Science
- Pathology Assistant
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS)
- Applicant must have a current cumulative overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or better.
- Recipients enrolled in associate degree programs (or LPN programs) are expected to graduate in six (6) semesters of twelve (12) quarters, excluding summers.
- Recipients enrolled in baccalaureate programs are expected to complete their program in ten (10) semesters, excluding summers.

Applications require:
- Two (2) professional references
- Three (3) open-ended essay responses
- Cover letter
- Resume
- Proof of enrollment at respective college/university
- Proof of acceptance to accredited program
- Current academic transcripts
Selected candidates may be asked to participate in a brief interview with representatives from their department of interest.
This scholarship program is supported by Policy #A01-205. If selected to receive this educational award, you will be asked to sign a contract that details the required workback commitment.
