Stephanie Rose received her medical degree from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine. She completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then completed a fellowship in general internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and earned a Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.

Dr. Rose is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2013, she became a Diplomate of Obesity Medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

    Dr. Rose was amazing!!! She explained her suggestions and what benefit I would get. It wasn't some big hard thing just small consistent changes over a long period of time. I can do that.

      Given the number of years that I've now seen DR Rose, and the help that I've received from her and the UK Department, I have always felt that she and the staff demonstrated true health concerns, guidance, recommendations, and put forth a good/sound weight management plan with my best interest in mind.

      I was concerned before I met Dr. Rose she would not understand how debilitating my out of control allergies made me feel since she is not an allergy specialist. I could not ask for better health care. Dr. Rose is an excellent Internal Medicine Doctor!
