      Dr Stakelin exceeded all my expectations on this first visit! She was most engaged regarding the best management of my newly diagnosed T2DM, reviewing all the treatment options. Dr Stakelin actively included me as a 'team member' in my ongoing care. The entire visit, from check -in to seeing the physician was most impressive. One of the best outpatient clinics at UKHC.

      Dr Stakelin is the absolute best doctor I have ever had (and I have had a lot in my 72 years!). She is thorough, extremely knowledgeable but she communicates in a way that issues are totally clear. She is so personable and always makes me feel like we are 2 friends talking. I have a better understanding of my diabetes. I can't praise her enough!
