I'm not easily impressed, especially with medical providers. Dr. Kamyar is very good at this role. His attention to detail, knowledge, and ability to communicate is exceptional. He deserves a raise.

The assistant was very nice, but the dr I was scheduled to see had not read any of my medical records, and began diagnosing me with no background into my issues. He claimed to not have all my medical records. I fortunately did and brought them from my vehicle. He then continued to say that my previous endocrinologists were wrong about their diagnosis. He did skim over my records that I had brought in myself but he did not read the notes, only looked at the labs. I did not feel like he cared about my issue, and frankly he seemed quite rude.

Provider never asked about my high heart rate of 188 or blood pressure. Never asked how I was feeling or if I needed any help.

Like many providers, the doctor took one look at me and decided that my obesity is a personal failing as opposed to a possible medical issue, and continued to insist upon that even after I tried to explain my concerns about it increasing and my inability to lose weight. He did order pro-forma tests and talked about the possibility of medicinal assisted weight loss for my follow up appointment, but it was obvious that this was not the route he wanted to go, and considered lifestyle changes to be the only thing I need to do to lose weight.

I was interrupted multiple times while trying to speak to the doctor. She hardly gave me time to discuss my symptoms and did not seem concerned regarding my symptoms; she seemed to only care about my blood work.

I feel the doctor did not fully listen to my concerns, and only proposed treatment was that I change my lifestyle without providing any suggestions. Definitely would NOT recommend Dr. Kamyar.

This visit far exceeded my expectations. All of my concerns were thoroughly addressed. The resident and the attending physician both took time to listen and answer all of my questions. I left this visit feeling relieved and confident that I was receiving great care.

I am not happy with the doctor. He never remembers the details of my issues. His notes regarding follow-up conversations, decisions on care, and coordination of care with other physicians that he referred me to are poor or non-existent. He was extremely accusatory that I had decided a dosage on my own even though we discussed the change in my medication multiple times. He doesn't listen to me regarding the input of other physicians I've seen including one that he told me to go see. I'm so sick of him and am tapering off medication he has prescribed just so I don't have to see him anymore. On his way out the door at my appointment, he said, Sorry we couldn't help you, and laughed. I can't get pregnant. That's not funny. He needs to work on his bedside manner.

This doctor will not listen or offer any solution to the problems I was experiencing. Honestly he simply did not care! Had to get a referral to Baptist Health to address my health issues. Staff did a great job. Will not come back to this doctor anymore. This is the fourth time and still no concern.

Both the physician I was scheduled to see and his assistant doctor showed lack of empathy and humility. I was asked about my symptoms and was interrupted every time I started speaking. Things were getting jumbled and confusing because they would not wait long enough for me to finish describing my struggles. I was scoffed at and made to feel like my issues were less serious. He disagreed with some treatment I have been receiving from another doctor and acted like he knew everything. This visit was disheartening to both me and my husband. We did get some testing done and I appreciate that very much, but as soon as I get the results I'm taking those to a different endocrinologist.
