Urgent Care
SCHEDULE AHEAD
AND SAVE TIME
We offer same-day urgent care scheduling, allowing you to reserve a time for your visit through the UK HealthCare MyChart patient portal. To prevent long waits, we also offer walk-in patients an appointment time upon arrival, giving a clear idea of when you can expect to be seen.
Offering urgent care when you need it
Accidents and illnesses don’t always happen during office hours, and not all medical issues need to be treated in the emergency department. UK HealthCare offers two Urgent Care Clinics (UTC) that bridge that gap by offering efficient, cost-effective and convenient urgent care from the experts at UK HealthCare.
Turfland
8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Every day
Fountain Court
8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Every day
Holiday hours may vary.
Urgent care is a great option for any person whose injury or illness isn’t life-threatening. If you need medical attention but are unable to see your primary care provider, we can help. Walk in without an appointment, see a board-certified provider and be on your way.
UK Employee Health Plan Urgent Care
University Health Service Building, First Floor
8 a.m. – 4: 30 p.m., Monday - Friday
The UK Health Plan Urgent Care Clinic is an on-site clinic for UK employees and their dependents over age 18 who participate in one of the UK health plans (UK-HMO, UK-PPO, UK-EPO, and UK-RHP).
The UK Health Plan Urgent Care Clinic is here to help you when you have an immediate problem and are unable to see your regular Primary Care Provider.
Providing a path to primary care services
You don’t need to have a UK HealthCare primary care provider to use the Urgent Care Clinic—walk-in care is available to everyone. During your visit, we can help you find a follow-up care provider who is convenient to your home or workplace. If you do have a UK provider, all the records and notes from your visit to the Urgent Care Clinic will become part of your medical record and easily accessible to your regular provider.
